The aim of CATS College is to encourage all students to realise their potential, fostering independence and maturity in order to prepare them for their future in the UK’s top universities and as Global Citizens.
We focus on getting to know you as an individual. Our unique approach to teaching and learning has been called ‘exemplary’ by recent government inspectors. We take the time to find out in detail what your aims and potential are, and then develop an individual learning plan to support your progress at every stage of your learning.
Above all else, we empower you to take responsibility for your own choices and ensure you are fully prepared for the challenges of university life and beyond.
You will benefit from a very distinctive CATS College education with small classes, enthusiastic and committed subject teachers and a wide range of academic programmes.
- Pre-Programme - one year GCSE/IGCSE programme
- A level Programme – wide range of subjects which can be studies over 6,5 or 3 terms
- University Foundation Programme – three terms
- International Baccalaureate - CATS College Canterbury only
CATS College is not a traditional British boarding school – we offer you more freedom of choice – we do not have a school uniform, nor do we insist that you go to chapel and only compulsory school age students are obliged to do sports.
Your safety and security is our priority and consequently we will ensure that you have a considerable amount of support outside of the classroom through your Personal Tutor, Heads of House and our Residential Supervisors who live with you in our residences throughout the year.
Superb accommodation in a safe and historic university city
Our self-contained residences provide fully catered boarding in secure, supervised accommodation with mostly single en-suite rooms. Call us on +44 (0) 1223 345698 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss your options or book a visit. We look forward to hearing from you.
Canterbury is a city rich in history and alive with potential, close to beaches and the most beautiful countryside in England, while being only 50 minutes train journey into London. It is a World Heritage Site with thousands of years of history all around you and the home of three UK universities.
