SEN or Dyslexic Schools
Many parents are not aware that private schools often have superb provision for SEN (Special Educational Needs) children. The term itself is a broad umbrella, and covers anything from mild dyslexia to severe mental or physical disabilities.
Depending on a child's needs, they may be best suited to a mainstream school or a specialist school. Curriculum is a very important part of school choice.
After years of research, counselling, and investigation, we decided that this is too large a topic to cover on the IB-Schools.com website. We would therefore welcome you to visit our dedicated SEN education site, best-sen-schools.co.uk, where you can explore the subject, advice, and resources in much more depth. Please be aware that we have comprehensive lists of specialist SEN schools in the UK but not elsewhere in the world. However many UK specialist SEN schools do have boarding facilities and can consider international children. Please also be aware that the IB curriculums are sometimes not suitable for SEN children.
Alternatively, please feel free to call, email, or complete an enquiry form, and tell us how we can help.
